Hugh, over at Hugh’s Views and News, runs a regular photo challenge with different themes every week. This week the theme is stripes, and here’s my entry:
I snapped these wonderful stripy leaves on a walk to school last autumn – I think they look quite tropical, rather than something you’d find in an English suburb, which is why they caught my eye.
For more stripy shots, head on over to Hugh’s blog, or add one of your own!
Great shot, love the colours.
Thanks, Miriam – they really stood out to me, too π
That’s a lovely photo, Helen. Brings back memories of my favourite season. I love the colours and the stripes really do show up very well. It’s a great entry for the challenge.
Thank you so much for participating.
Have a great weekend. π
Thanks Hugh – glad you like it π Autumn is my favourite season too, partly because of the colours. Hope you have a great weekend too, might see you at Steve’s request party (if he’s having one)?
Alas, I won’t be at Steve request party. Saturday night for me is watching a movie rather than listening to the radio. He did say he was going to move the times of the show around so I hope it comes back to Saturday afternoon.
Yes, me too π enjoy your movie, hope it’s a good one
They definitely look tropical; how beautiful!
Thanks, I thought so too! Not English looking at all π
Cracking entry – unique and outside the box. you have an eye for photos there’s been a few on here that have caught my eye for different reasons π
Thanks, Sacha – that’s very kind of you to say π
Very imaginative, stripes…
Thanks, Marjorie π It stood out when I was looking through my album…

Fantastic what you did with the stripes challenge!
Thank you! Glad you liked it – it just turned out that the photo matched the challenge, a happy coincidence π
A happy coincidence is the best.
