I saw this on Twitter a while ago and thought it a fun thing to do – basically, you make a poem from book titles. Here’s my attempt:
I capture the castle,
The daughter of time;
Away with the fairies,
Memory and dream
The dark is rising
Whispers underground.
Foxglove summer;
The new rulers of the world
As to what it means, I guess that’s open to interpretation. π I know what it means to me – what do you think?
I had a go with this a while back…it was fun π
It is fun, isn’t it? Such a cute idea π
Addictive, though…;)
Hmmm, yes… π
π
This is such a great idea! And what a lovely poem too! π
Thank you! It’s a great idea, isn’t it? Wish I could take credit for it but I can’t, I saw it on Twitter a while back and thought, I have to give it a try π Glad you like the poem, too.
I love β€οΈ it.. great π use of titles..
Thank you! It took me a little while to put together, but I think it works okay π
It did.. it came together beautifully..
Thank you π
The fae are bringing back magic to the land. π
Oh, I hope so! We could do with a little magic right about now… π
Seen a few of these … yours has a rare depth … an engaging poetic feel
Thank you – that’s very kind of you to say π
Awesome. And some great books in that lot, as well. π
Thank you! It’s a nice idea, isn’t it? Can’t take credit for it but I wish I could π
I’ve seen this somewhere… It looks like so much fun. Love your poem. π
Yes, I saw it on Twitter, and I think it shows up on Pinterest and Instagram as well. It was great fun to do – now I want to do another one π
I remember wanting to create one but I think it will be addictive. I really do… π
Yes, you end up with piles of books around the house, shouting ‘don’t touch those!’ to your bemused family. (no this didn’t happen to me, no really it didn’t haha)
Now I’m DEFINITELY doing this! π Hahaha!
Hahaha! Excellent π
