This tiny little door is just near to where I live, part of a fence bordering a residential property. My daughter loves it, always checking to see if anything is in the ‘towers’ around it, leaving daisies or coloured stones for the fairies.
After all, who else could it be for? It is too small for people, or cats, or dogs – the only explanation is that it is for the fey folk to use, should they wish to visit.
At least, that’s what I think. How about you?

It’s totally a fairy door. 💕 I love it!
It’s so cute, isn’t it? I love stuff like this 🙂
I agree, Helen. Although, maybe they have Gnomes in the garden and the door is for them?
It would be small even for gnomes, Hugh – the door is only about 10cm high. Very small gnomes, perhaps? ;-D
I’d forgotten that. How about an elf?
Cute, and I like it.
Thanks, Craig -it is pretty cute, isn’t it?
A little fairy fort! I would have loved that as a child.
I know! Isn’t it great? They were having work done on their fence last year and we were so worried they would get rid of it, but it’s still there. We always check for fairies whenever we go past 🙂
I would too! You’d have to have a very cold heart to tear it down. I’m sure it’s loved by all the children in the neighbourhood… and many of the mums too. 😁
Yes, I have a feeling we’re not the only ones to wander up the grassy bank to check for fairies – there would have been a lot of sorrow if it went (fingers crossed!)
That’s adorable!
For mice perhaps? 😀
A-door-able, even? (sorry, couldn’t resist). And yes, mice would make good use of it too 🙂
How completely charming ! Must be some nice people who live in the house I think!? 🙂
Thanks, Jane – it is cute, isn’t it? I’ve not met the people who live there but yes, I hope they are as nice as their fairy door makes them seem. 🙂
How cute! A tiny castle, no wonder your daughter loves it.
Thanks, Jean – it’s a nice bit of whimsy, isn’t it? I think it’s popular with a lot of the kids around here 🙂
Lovely!
Thank you 🙂
Helen, I love that in the first shot, we have no idea that it’s so small. In that shot, it also looks like face to me. What fun!
janet
Thanks Janet – yes, it is like a face, isn’t it? I’m glad you liked the photos – I think that’s part of its charm, that it is such a perfect door in miniature 🙂
Cutest thing ever! Maybe Alice went in there…
Yes! After she drank the potion that made her smaller… Or was it the cake? I can never remember 😀
The drink made her smaller. I only remember because I saw Alice In Wonderland a week or two ago, lol.
Well, I think it’s a perfect way to describe that little door 🙂
